- Confirming your request
- Receiving updates and delivery information
- Communicating with volunteers assigned to assist you
Messages may be automated or sent by a staff member or volunteer.
2. Consent to Receive Phone Calls
You also consent to receive phone calls, including:
- Automated or prerecorded calls (used only when necessary)
- Calls from volunteers or staff coordinating your service
- Follow-up calls to confirm delivery or assess your needs
You may request that calls stop at any time.
3. Message & Call Frequency
- Message and call frequency depends on your requests
- You may receive 1–10 messages and/or calls per request
- You will never receive marketing messages

Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out at any time:
- Text STOP to end all text messages
- Tell a volunteer/staff member “Please stop calling me”
- Text HELP to get assistance or more information
After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect the privacy of every community member we serve.
- We collect only the information needed to assist you
- Information is used solely to provide services (food, rides, care, etc.)
- We never sell or share your information with third parties
- Your address/phone may be shared only with approved volunteers fulfilling your request
- We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank info, immigration status, or sensitive data
7. Eligibility & Accurate Information
By contacting JustText, you confirm that:
- You are requesting help for yourself or your household
- You will provide accurate information to ensure proper assistance
- No ID or documentation is required unless specified by our local partner organization
8. Service Limitations
JustText is supported by community centers, masjids, churches, nonprofits, and local volunteers.
Services depend on:
- Pantry inventory
- Volunteer availability
- Your geographic location
We aim to help every request, but cannot guarantee availability.
9. Safety & Conduct
Volunteers will never ask for:
- Money
- Payment of any kind
- Entry into your home
- Sensitive personal information
If you ever feel uncomfortable, text HELP immediately.
10. Policy Updates
JustText may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you if changes impact your privacy or consent.
